A new old-time radio show starting up in WIllow Lakes Estates.

WLE Radio Show

We're looking for people to participate in our new little venture.

What's a radio show? It's where several performers re-create an old-time radio show, you know, "live in front of a studio audience!"

The best way to understand what it's like is to see it in action. I have numerous youtube videos of performances I was in several years ago. Take a look:

Now It's Our Turn!

We'll gather our forces in January. If you'd like to try out for our troup, contact me for a quick audition.

We'll do our show just like the videos, so you'll need to be comfortable reading from a script, and sound like you're not reading but instead talking to the other performers.

How Involved is It?

Once we have enough performers, it'll go quickly!

We'll gather for a read-through sometime in February.

We'll have a rehearsal about a week or so after that. If we feel we need another rehearsal, we'll do it, but we may not need it.

Then we give a performance sometime in March.

So it's not a very large commitment.

We'll pick the actual dates once we have enough performers to make a go of it. Then we'll promote our performance date in the Golden Willow and in the Facebook groups.

If we have fun and the community enjoys it, we'll do it again. And again. Let's take it a step at a time.
